Purposes and missions:

Purposes: This research dissertation aims at finding out new prospects for oil and gas industry in the context of Vietnam current extensive involvement in global economic integration

Missions:

+ To systematize the factors affecting oil and gas industry development

+ To learn from experiences of other countries in the region with regard to their oil and gas industrial development

+ To analyze the factual situations to point out achievements and shortcomings during the development of oil and gas sector in recent years

+ To propose solutions for developing oil and gas sector accordingly with the factual conditions of Vietnam nowadays

New contributions:

+ To draw learning experiences for Vietnam based on a study of the development situation of oil and gas industry in some countries.

+ To offer a clear view of the development situation of Vietnam oil and gas industry; to point out the achievements as well as shortcomings during the development of oil and gas sector in Vietnam.

+ To propose the directions and policies for developing oil and gas sector in accordance with the factual conditions of Vietnam at present.
