The closing ceremony was held jointly by VNU, Yen Bai province and the Northern West Steering Committee.  Ms. Ngo Thi Chinh, Vice Chairman of Yen Bai People’s Committee, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice President of VNU, representatives of a number of departments, branches of Yen Bai province attended, Dr. Vu Anh Dzung, Vice Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business, Assoc. Prof Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Vice Rector of VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
In Yen Bai, VNU University of Economics and Business has coordinated two short-term training courses: "Science Management - sustainable technology and business development" (from September 12 to October 27 with 45 participants) and "Planning and Strategy management skills in the context of international integration" (from September 9 to October 19 with 35 participants). This is a short-term training course under the project "Transfer of knowledge, technology and training to improve the quality of human resources for sustainable development of the Northern West" in Yen Bai province in 2012.
The students of "Science Management - sustainable technology and business development" course were equipped with the knowledge: Technology management, Building the local science and technology strategy for social-economic development, international and domestic experience and implications in technology management, etc… In addition, students were also practicing on building a technology innovation project in Yen Bai province.
The course "Planning and Strategy management skills in the context of international integration"  provides the knowledge about Strategic Leadership, Strategic Management, Developing and Attracting Strategic human resources, East-West strategic thinking, building and implementing strategic programs ...

Vice Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business awarded the certificates of graduation for students at the ceremony

The report on implementation of all courses in Yen Bai province shows that the courses were seriously organized and implemented, the teachers have high qualification, professional knowledge, responsibility and a variety of teaching methods to create excitement for students. The students participated in the course seriously, actively in class activities.
At the closing ceremony,  Dr. Vu Anh Dzung, Vice Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business awarded the certificates of graduation for students who have completed two training programs in Yen Bai province and awarded the certificates of merit for outstanding students.
At the ceremony, Ms. Ngo Thi Chinh congratulated the students, and showed her gratitude to VNU in cooperation with the province for training human resources. Vice Chairman of Yen Bai said it was one of the activities of Yen Bai working together with VNU to build up the key national program for Northern West Sustainable Development .
