Faculty of Finance and Banking’s meeting on 2012-2013 mission plan

On 7 September 2012, a meeting was held by the Faculty of Finance and Banking (VNU University of Economics and Business) to launch the mission plan of the academic year 2012 - 2013 under the chairmanship of Dr. Quach Manh Hao, Dean of the Faculty.


The meeting discussed three main issues: reviews of the academic year 2011 - 2012; launching the academic year 2012 - 2013 plans; discuss and assigning tasks for the deployment of constructing exams’ content and structure for each subject.
The review of the academic year 2011 - 2012 outlines the outstanding achievements the Faculty has fulfilled throughout the school year: holding international workshops, constructing six new syllabuses, opening a new dual training program in economics.
Thanks to those achievements, the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Department of Finance has been awarded the title of outstanding collective labor, five staffs of the Faculty have received excellent employee title at UEB level, a lecturer, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu achieved VNU level title.
In deployment mission plan of the academic year 2012 - 2013, Department of Finance - Faculty of Finance and Banking emphasized on key tasks such as: opening doctoral training programs, opening international joint master training programs in Finance and Banking, make 2 international articles... Dr. Quach Manh Hao hoped that with the effort, determination, collective solidarity of the Faculty, under the close supervision of the Management Board, as well as the support of other UEB departments and units, Faculty of Finance and Banking could complete its assigned tasks during this academic year.
The third issue, rapid deployment of an important task in the coming academic year has been conducted by the faculty, which is to build content and the structures of exams for each subject. With the support of MSc. Sai Cong Hong, Director of the Center for Higher Education Quality Assurance in clarifying the importance and procedure of the constructing of course content and exams, the Faculty is expected to be completed this task by October 2012.
With the dedication of the Dean and the consent of all the staff in the Faculty, the academic year 2012 - 2013 will hopefully be a year of more success for the Faculty of Finance and Banking.
