Opening ceremony of joint BSBA program, intake 10

On 8th November 2011, the intake 10 opening ceremony has been organized for students of joint Bachelor of Science training program in Business Administration (BSBA) between Troy University and VNU - University of Economics and Business.


There have been Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - UEB Vice Rector, Dr. Pham Vu Thang - Director of Center for International Training & Education and Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet - Director of Research & Partnership Development Office attending to the ceremony. Ms. Nguyen Thuy Phuong - Troy University representative in Vietnam also attended to the ceremony with BSBA alumni, students and their parents.

The BSBA joint training program between Troy University and VNU University of Economics and Business has been training 9 courses and there has been 6 graduated courses. The intake 10 opening ceremony is specially organized in the celebratory atmosphere of 40-year UEB tradition, 5th anniversary of UEB establishment and Troy University's 125th anniversary.

On behalf of UEB Management Board, Vice Rector - Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh has congratulated new students, expecting the success of BSBA program. He hoped the new students would give more strive for their future path.

At the ceremony, UEB leaders also awarded scholarships for 12 new students who had expressive results in the BSBA program entrance examination. These are encouraging rewards which motivate new students for more achievements.

Alumni of BSBA program also came and congratulated new students. They have shared their study experience in new environment like university. Students of joint BSBA program is taught in English by U.S. standards, which set quite high requirements for students. To freshmen who have just graduated from high school, this is a chance to assert themselves and also the challenge of change. The sharing and expectation from the alumni has strengthened their confidence, encouraging for new students in the long road ahead.
