Attending were Prof.Dr.Sc.Vu Minh Giang, VNU’s Vice-President; Prof.Dr.Sc. Nguyen Huu Cong, Dean of School of Graduate Studies - VNU; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, UEB’s Vice-Rector; representatives from functional departments, lecturers, students of Master studies and Doctor studies.

Among 86 students, there are 77 graduate students of Intake 16 of 3 specializations: Business Administration; International Economics - International Economic Relations and Political Economy. There are 9 students joining Intake 5 of Doctor studies in Political Economy.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the VNU’s Board of Management, Prof. Dr. Sc. Vu Minh Giang congratulated all 86 new students and expressed his belief that they would be pioneers who would help UEB improve the quality of post-graduate training.

On behalf of all students at the opening ceremony, Trinh Thi Tuyet Mai, graduate students of Intake 16, delivered a speech and granted flowers to express deep gratitude to VNU’s Board of Management, UEB’s Board of Management, and also promised to make the best efforts in studying.

After the announcement of Decision on enrolling into Master studies and Doctor studies in 2007 and speeches by representatives, students were disseminated all information about the post-graduate training regulations of VNU and UEB; the programs and time table of all intakes.
