Following the strategy of education globalization of the VNU University of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Development Economics organized the International Lecture Series 2021. The series gave UEB’s students and international students chances to exchange and expand their knowledge.
The international lecture series focus on 5 issues of the world economy and Vietnam today, including: “FDI and ODA in Vietnam”, “Commodities: Have we entered a new supper -cycle?”, “Addressing food security from climate change and Covid 19 pandemic”, “Asia Dialogue 2021” and “Current issues and changes in Japanese-style human resource management”.
The international lecture series attracted a large number of students
The series is held online, starting from June 2021 and attracted participation of professors from universities in the US, Italy, Japan and lecturers of the Faculty of Development Economics, VNU University of Business and Economics.
The series of international lectures has ended after 5 sessions, giving UEB’s students new and interesting knowledge to apply to their future careers. The event also provided opportunities for UEB’s students to exchange with international professors, improve language skills and connect with international friends.
In 2022, the International Lecture Series will continue with new lectures, contributing to the strategy of education globalization of the university.
