On 16th March 2021, the Faculty of International Business and Economics (FIBE) held the meeting to discuss the Key strategies and plan for 2021, vision to 2025. The meeting focused on improving research capacity, promoting international publishing as well as organizing short courses and attracting funding.
FIBE is the leading unit in training and conducting research
following the internationalization orientation of the university. As such, the
development strategy of the Faculty plays an important part in enhancing the
prestige of the university.
With 25 lecturers, 5 associate professors, 10 PhDs and 10
masters, FIBE is increasing its international publishing on prestigious
journals in ISI/Scopus listings. The Faculty's current key research directions are
foreign investment (direct and indirect); Supply chain and value chain; Adjusting foreign
investment policies in Vietnam in the process of international economic
integration.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Ha Van Hoi - Dean of the Faculty affirmed
that: Innovation and creativity continues to be the strategic goal of the Faculty. This strategy will be
implemented through 3 main activities: (1) Enhancing research capacity for
faculty members, promoting international publication in ISI/Scopus listings; (2) Promoting
short-term training programs; (3) Attracting funding for training and research,
which will gradually improve the training quality and research capacity of the
Faculty.
