At 7 am, the consultation booth of Hanoi Vietnam National University was crowded with students coming for consultancy. The UEB had two booths within the shared area of VNU. To support the University's admissions consultant team, Rector Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le was also present at the event.

 

Consultation booths of UEB was crowded since morning

A student from Quang Trung High School, Dong Da, Hanoi said: "The UEB's lecturers had paid a visit to my high school and shared some enrollment information; however, due to the limited time, I have not grasped much. Therefore, today I come here to get detailed consultancy. I am very interested in International Economics and Business Administration. I hope I will be a part of the school soon.”

Within a few minutes, the consultation booths were jammed with students and parents. Many parents had come from a long distance with their children to get consulted. A parent coming from Bac Ninh said: “I also studied at VNU before, so I was very confident in the quality of training here, my child likes to study Economics, so now I come here to get detailed consultancy, especially on double degree program. I hope that he can obtain two degrees after graduation, one in Economics and one in foreign language".

 

Many parents and children came from the countryside to get direct enrollment advice. Parents and students were also instructed to join the facebook counseling group to update news 24/24

Participating in admission consulting for Banking and Finance major was Assoc.Prof.PhD. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of the Faculty. A student at Tran Phu High School, Hoan Kiem asked about the difference between Banking and Finance, UEB and other schools. Answering the student's question, Assoc.Prof.PhD Tran Thi Thanh Tu said: “Banking and Finance at the UEB is divided into two majors of Finance and Banking. The Faculty clearly orientates students towards suitable careers even when they are still in the University. Especially, if students love the banking job, the Faculty will focus on training the elite for leading banks such as MB Bank, PV Bank, BIDV ... We also are vigorously renovating teaching activities. Instead of learning theories in class, a series of seminars on skills, practical internships at finance companies, banks, virtual bank internships, teaching by e-learning ...are provided to constantly improve the learning outcomes. In the coming time, the Banking and Finance major will pioneer the international accreditation of ACBSP, which will bring the Banking and Finance major to international scale and attract foreign students”.

At the Admission Consultation Day, many students had applied for direct enrollment with IELTS and specialized schools’ privilege, some candidates had good records and were confident that they would become UEB-ers after the enrollment season.

Many candidates who apply directly to the school and place their love will become new students after the enrollment season.
