UEB Student Research Competition 2020

As the coronavirus pandemic is becoming complex, the competition for UEB’s student research was held successfully online. On 25th March 2020, the competition took place with Microsoft Team.


The competition was chaired by Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector together with lecturers from faculties and schools of the UEB. Opening the competition, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Anh Thu said, promoting student research activity is among the top priority of the university. This year, the activities attracted 129 research projects. Passing the assessment at faculties and school, 8 projects were chosen to participate in the competition at university level.

At the competition, each group had 10 minutes to present their research in front of the board of lecturers. The researches were highly appreciated for their creativity, many of which applied modern research models with huge database and clear research objectives and methodology with lively practical examples.

 
 
 
 

After 6 hours of working, the board of lecturers came up the difficult decision in choosing the best projects to take part in student research competition at VNU’s level, ministry’s level and submit to the Young Scholars Initiative 2020 held in Budapest, Hungary.

 

The first prizes were awarded to 2 student groups of Faculty of International Economics and Faculty of Development Economics.
