Attending the meeting, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Cam Nhung - Head of Research and Partnership Development. From Nepal banks, there were leaders of Himalayan, NCC, Citizen Investment Trust and TrustBiz.

Speaking to the international guest, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu introduced about the VNU University of Economics and Business, the training activities, research and strategic development orientation of internationalization. The university desired to become the knowledge destination for not only universities and research institutions but also enterprises, corporation and international banks etc., which opens the opportunities to develop training programs, internship for learners and students as well as capacity building activities for lecturers and staff of the university.

 

 

Representatives of Nepal banks said, “we contacted with the university through our staff who is learning at the UEB. After three years of pursuing the doctoral degree at the university, he gave a lot of positive feedback about the learning environment and teaching methods at the university. That’s the reason why we chose the UEB to set up the cooperation with Vietnamese universities.”

 

 

 

After the meeting, the two parties obtained the overview on prospect of cooperation among the sides, which help to implement the specific cooperative activities in the coming time.
