On the occasion of the new school year, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - Rector of the university congratulated the freshmen of intake QH-2016-E for excellent passing the university entrance examination and for believing to choose UEB to study in the next 4 years.

Beside the advantage of being a member of Vietnam National University, Hanoi - a multidisciplinary and multi-field training institution with high quality, UEB’s research orientation closely associates with reality, training and international integration. UEB also has its own strength to provide students with an ideal learning environment. The university was nationally accredited and a number of training programs were accredited by international organizations. UEB has developed a wide network with national and international partners and implemented many cooperation activities supporting for research, training and internship activities.

In addition, UEB owns a number of high quality faculties and staff with the highest ratio of PhD, Professor and Associate Professor per total lecturers in the nation. The proportion of graduate students who are employed and continue with higher study is also very huge.

However, in a complicated social – economical context with many opportunities as well as challenges, in order to achieve their objectives and dreams, the Rector believed that the new students themselves must enhance their living skills, self- study skills and actively participate in community activities. He also advised the freshmen to read a lot, read intentionally and selectively with countless sources of current information.

UEB’s Rector commended valedictorians of training programs in the university entrance exam in 2016

At the ceremony, to encourage talented students in the last exam, as well as to recognize the efforts of students in the school year 2015 -2016, Leaders of the university awarded certificates and scholarships for 26 outstanding students including: 8 valedictorians of training programs in the university entrance examination in 2016; 6 students with best study results, 6 active class monitors and 6 students in difficulties with good learning results.

Joining to congratulate the new-comers of UEB, representatives of the university's strategic partners such as: Insewa Organization, The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, IMG Investment Joint Stock Company, Lienvietpostbank, National Commercial Bank... also awarded scholarships to students with total value of over 1 billion.

In the academic year 2016-2017, the university also received grants and scholarships from other partners such as Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), the KOVA Paint Group and other strategic partners with the aims to improve capacity, support the study and internships for students.
