Commencement ceremony of BBA and MBA joint training programs

31 BBA students (Intake 9) and 29 MBA graduates (Intake 6&7) of the joint training programs in Business Administration received their degrees at the commencement ceremony held on 21 October 2014.


To be present at the VNU University of Economics and Business, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - UEB Rector, Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - UEB Vice Rector. From Troy University (the US), there were Dr. Jack Hawkins - Troy University Chancellor and Dr. Earl Ingram - Vice Chancellor. There were also lecturers, staffs, bachelor’s and master’s students and their families at the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son congratulated bachelor’s and master’s students on finishing their training course. He confirmed that all students have proven their effort and strove continuously during their enthusiasm studying at the UEB. Their attained degree promised a firm step to conquer their career path as well as to be the pride of UEB. On behalf of Troy University, Dr. Jack Hawkins expressed his expectation for Troy’s graduate students “The world is entering the new period and the task of Troy warriors is to be aware of the change and continue to strive for progress. I believe that the success may come to those who seize opportunities and overcome challenges.” At the same time, he shared his pride and belief in the relationship between the UEB and Troy University for over 10 years. He hoped that the cooperative relation will be maintained and flourished in the coming period.


Leaders of the two universities award outstanding students


In her deep gratitude, Ms. Cao Thu Ha - MBA graduate has expressed her thanks to leaders and staffs of the two universities for their support and facilitating. She shared that 16-month training course of Troy’s MBA program is a long way and full of difficulties. This is a challenging program for all students, right from the admission conditions, which required English competence of IELTS 6.0 and GMAT 400. However, it is also an opportunity for all students to improve their skills and access to the latest knowledge in the world.

The ceremony closed with the nostalgic and cheerful atmosphere. The bachelor’s and master’s degrees today will be the first step on their career and confirm the success of the joint training program between two universities.
