Attending the ceremony were representatives of the departments under the Vietnam National, Hanoi (VNU) and leaders of the University of Economics and Business. Deans of UEB’s faculties, representatives of UEB offices and students were also present at the ceremony. Being present at the ceremony, the UEB partners such as the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Hanoi (ACCA), Viet Resource Group JSC., Citicom Commerce JSC., etc.
Every year, the VNU-UEB grants the undergraduate degree for students at 4 terms respectively in March, June, September and December. This commencement is within the second  term in 2014.At the ceremony, UEB Rector Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son conferred the bachelor degrees to 189 students of 6 majors: Business Administration, International Economics, Finance - Banking, Accounting, Political Economics and Development Economics.
The diploma is the result of four-year experience at university of each student. The Rector has sent his message to the fresh graduates: “For anywhere you are, or you are at any position, do any work, always remember that you are an integral element of the VNU-UEB big family. The university will stand side by side, set our trust on you and wait for your success.”

On this occasion, the UEB Rector has expressed his gratitude for the support and accompany of relevant agencies, especially of VNU leaders and the partners in Vietnam and overseas. He also thanked the UEB staff and faculty members for their devotion to the mission of the university.
At the ceremony, the UEB leaders commended 111 outstanding students of the university, two of whom are Hoang Huyen Ngoc (student of International Economics) and Nguyen Linh Chi (student of Business Administration - international standard) received Certificate of Merit by VNU President.

Representing the UEB’s partners, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ha (ACCA Hanoi) expressed her impression by the achievements in training that UEB accomplished. She also expressed congratulations to the new bachelors and hoped that they would quickly have good occupation. She said that the businesses are always welcomed students and help them to grow up.

After the commencement, the new bachelors will officially step into a new environment, which has many challenges and opportunities as well. The UEB Rector believed that the new bachelors would promptly adapt themselves and succeed in their practical environment as accompanied by their knowledge and passion acquired from the university.
