Results of the research:

This research indicated that 5S is a very important tool to implement the lean management of companies. 5S brings main benefits including save time, minimize defects, decrease inventories, save cost, save space, create a professional working environment, upgrade spirit, improve labor productivity, and shorten the time between customers’ order and shipment. 5S is a basic and an important tool to develop lean management system successfully. Viet Nam can apply lean management system through 5S application, and 5S can develop successfully in Vietnam.
