Faculty of Development Economics first intake defend graduation thesis

A student from QH-2008-E Faculty of Development Economics defend her graduation thesis before the Council
On 1st June, students of Faculty of Development Economics, VNU University of Economics and Business have taken part in the graduation theses defense ceremony for QH-2008-E intake with 9 topics, defended before 2 councils.


-The first council includes: Dr. Vu Duc Thanh, Dr. Nguyen Viet Thanh, MSc. Do Kim Oanh
-The second council includes: Dr. Bui Dai Dung, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet and MSc. Nguyen Thi Vinh Ha
At both councils, the students and lecturers have been working seriously. The students in turn presented and answered the questions givin by the council. As the first intake of Faculty of Development Economics, students have probably not avoided several unexpected issues when implementing their graduation thesis. However, they have confidently presented and successfully defended their thesis before the councils. Some theses have shown the author’s thorough devotion, which brought about the notably research-oriented and significant studies.
After the ceremony, the two councils have discussed to decide the final result. Before announcing the assessment result, Dr. Vu Duc Thanh had pointed out the general strengths and shortcomings to help students improve their thesis. In general, the theses were highly evaluated.

The graduation theses defense ceremony has been carried out successfully, marking the objective and hard working process of the assessment council as well as the students’ palpitation when waiting for their turn and result.
Le Thi Hai Yen, a QH-2008-E student shared that: “We would like to send a sincerely thank to our lecturers for their attentive helps during the 4 years. We are so proud to be the first students graduating from Faculty of Development Economics. We will try our best to study and improve our knowledge in the coming stages so as to deserve with the lecturers’ expectations”.
