UEB promotes cooperation with Kelley School of Business - Indiana University, USA

During the exchange session, two parties had officially agreed on strategic cooperation agreement, affirming the long-term vision in the cooperation relationship towards mutual benefits for lecturers and students.


 Attending the meeting, from the Kelley School of Business, there were participations of: Prof. Pat Hopkins – Vice Rector; Prof. Leslie Hodder – Chair of KSB training programs. From the University of Economics and Business, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Anh Thu – Vice Rector; and the representatives of leaders of faculties and functional departments.

Following a conversation, the leaders of the two units agreed to collaborate:

- Signing MOA exchange agreements to foster collaboration in the following areas: student exchange; exchange of short-term courses and training programs for students; and participation in international conferences.

- Indiana University, especially the Kelley School of Business, will provide assistance to UEB in achieving ACBSP accreditation.

Two parties take a photo marking the long-term cooperation

Within the framework of the business trip, in the afternoon of the same day, UEB students and interns from KSB of Indiana attended the workshop with the topic "Accounting career path and internship journey in Vietnam".

 
 Overview of the workshop

With the presentation of intern groups from Indiana University about the practical internship journey in Vietnamese enterprises, students of the two schools had the opportunity to learn from each other, better understand the accounting industry, and explore internship possibilities in Vietnam.
