On 18th October 2018, the ceremony to award winners of IMG scholarship was solemnly held at the Hall 801 of VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB)
Attending the ceremony, there were Mr. Tran Ngoc Lu and Mr. Le Hong Thanh - Representatives of IMG Group; Dr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Rector of UEB together with leaders and heads of faculties and offices of the University.
The scholarship "IMG for talented Vietnamese" is funded by IMG Investment Corporation for talented students of UEB. They are excellent students who are expected to contribute to the community and society in the future. This is the fifth year the scholarship has been awarded to UEB’s students. Throughout the years, IMG Scholarships have supported the students in learning and helped them to follow their dreams. The winners of the scholarships had significant development steps during their studies and graduation.
Tran Thi Hanh talks about the motivation that IMG scholarship gave her
Particularly, Tran Thi Hanh (first winner in 2016-2017) achieved great success with her projects and social activities. At the ceremony, Hanh said, the IMG scholarship help her cover the cost of study and supported many of her plans. It is also a great motivation for her.

This year, right after the launching ceremony, IMG scholarship for talented Vietnamese scholarship has attracted nearly 50 applications. On 9th October, VNU University of Economics and Business conducted interviews with the candidates to find the outstanding students.
After the thorough selection process, the organizers have found 3 excellent students for the scholarship this year: First winner is Nguyen Thi Cam Huyen (QH-2016-E International Economics), second winner is Le Thi Hue (QH-2015-E International Economics), and third winner belongs to Ngo Thi Thanh Binh (QH-2014-E Development Economics).

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan expressed sincere thanks to Mr. Le Tu Minh - Chairman IMG Investment JSC - the sponsor of the scholarship as well as congratulated the winners. He said IMG scholarship is of great value as it aims to inspiring students to contribute to the community. He is delighted that the students who received the scholarships have great contribution to the society.
On behalf of the sponsors, Mr. Tran Ngoc Lu expressed the joy when seeing students achieving great success and made contribution to the society. He hoped that the students will work harder to contribute to the development of the country.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the students who received the IMG Scholarship, Nguyen Thi Cam Huyen said, she was deeply grateful to IMG Group for funding the scholarship. She also promised to try harder in learning and extracurricular activities and contribute to the community so that the value of the scholarship is not limited to personal support but spread to the whole community.
