On behalf of the Faculty of International Business and Economics (VNU-UEB), MA. Nguyen Thi Vu Ha mentioned and analyzed the problem of monetary integration in the ASEAN region through the presentation "ASEAN would become an optimum currency area (OCA) or not?". The presentation highlighted the benefits, costs and the criteria for the establishment of a common currency. Based on these criteria, the presentation did answer the question: Does the ASEAN region achieve the goal of a common currency?
The presentations of the seminar was to provide students of FIBE with useful knowledge of the activities and prospects of the ASEAN Economic Community - one of the Faculty’s main research directions.
