Vietnam HR Day 2012 attracts over 1,000 attendants

The main session of Vietnam HR 2012 jointly held by the VNU University of Economics and Business, EduViet Corporation, Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Vietnam CPO Club and HRLink.vn Forum has taken place on 14 October 2012.


The main session of Vietnam HR 2012 jointly held by the VNU University of Economics and Business, EduViet Corporation, Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Vietnam CPO Club and HRLink.vn Forum has taken place on 14 October 2012.
In the current economic crisis context, while businesses are facing many challenges, the managers’ role is more important than ever. Therefore, the quality of business leaders and human resources management in the new context has been drawing participants’ interest and discussion.

In his welcome speech at the forum, Dr. Vu Anh Dzung, UEB Vice Rector has confirmed, the participation of the UEB in Vietnam HR Day 2012 has shown the target of connecting universities and businesses as well as the orientation in high-quality training to meet the needs of businesses and the society.

Next, the program was opened with a CEO panel discussion entitled “Managers’ qualification of Vietnamese business” with the participation of many business leaders and economic experts such as: Dr. Le Dang Doanh - Senior economic expert, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu - Trung Nguyen Group Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Truong Son - Bao Son Group President…
Vietnam HR Day 2012 continued with further contents discussed in six sessions: art of leadership, Change management, Employee training and development, Motivating staff, Managers and KPI (Key Performance Indicator), Employee motivation, Developing key staff. In particular, the speakers focused on assessing the pluses and minuses of managers in Vietnamese enterprises; offered solutions to comprehensively improve the operating ability of leaders of these enterprises ...
Joining Vietnam HR Day 2012, the UEB’s staff and faculty members have positively contributed comments on the subject through several articles. “The report on Vietnam non state-owned business leaders’ surveys 2012” showed an overall picture of business managers’ quality - the key human resources today. “The Role of leadership in developing corporate culture” affirmed that the leader is the crucial element of corporate culture. In addition, there have been several reports such as: Effective leadership is to press the right "button"; Decentralization - the base for a company's success, Creativity, innovation - The necessary value core business of Vietnamese entrepreneurs; Attracting and employing talents SMEs; Strengthening the role of leadership in overall capacity development of employees in Vietnam’s SMEs.
Previously, under the framework of Vietnam HR Day 2012, the University of Economics and Business has successfully held the exchange program between representative young entrepreneurs and students with the theme: “Leadership qualification: Heart - Talent - Vision”, which has attracted over 700 students from local universities.
