However, there was only one project of stable economic development awarded, which was implemented by a Vietnam National University’s research team, mainly in charge by Prof.Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan.
In 2012, apart from the above mentioned fields, Bao Son Foundation is awarding to two more fields of medicine and art. Each winning research project may receive an award as high as USD30,000.
Previously, as for two new research fields in this year, the organizers were actively coordinating with the relevant ministries and government’s agencies to build and complete the regulations for the prize.
Representing the VNU University of Economics and Business - standing agency of Bao Son Prize, Dr. Vu Anh Dung said: “Building Bao Son Prize reflects the high sociality of the organizers, towards the stable values, common benefits and the sustainable development of Vietnamese people and society. We hope to receive the support and interest of scientists to participate in Bao Son Prize 2012 and the next years.”
