Seminar on UEB student research 2011

As his affirmation at the seminar on student research at University of Economics and Business 2011, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Hong Son - UEB Rector believed that this academic year, UEB students have spent their remarkable time and effort on research, applying standard scientific methods.

However, like other former studies, the topics are still broad, causing the difficulty in demonstrating the research questions. Several studies have not clarified the research methods. Therefore, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Hong Son reminded UEB students to select reasonable and particular topics to reach the final goals, in terms of high score and knowledge.

Bui Khac Linh (QH-2007-E KTCT) represents his study.

However, the student’s research committee highly recognized the connection among students of different faculties. This shows the connection, the investment in human and brain for students’ research. “It is the difference and creativenesses that have been confirmed, all the researches by UEB students deserve the award” - stressed Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Hong Son.

At the seminar, there were 11 studies presented. Remarkably, the studies paid attention to the issues such as creative industry, supplement industry, marketing strategy for canned coffee, the risks awareness of supply chain of Vietnam’s textile into American market…

After listening and reviewing the presentation, the committee has decided to award the first prize to the topic “Creative industry in Vietnam - Situation and solution”, this is a quite new notion by Bui Khac Linh (QH-2007-E KTCT).

Two second prize topics are “The economic crisis predictive models and applications in forecasting economic crisis to Vietnam for the period 2011 - 2016” (By the team Nguyen Minh Cuong, QH-2007-E KTCT - Nguyen Thi Hien, QH-2007-E KTPT) and topic “The impact of provincial mechanism on FDI into Vietnam" (By Tran Thi Giang Quynh, Chu Thi Nhuong and Pham Thi Thu Hien, QH-2008-E KTPT).
