UEB graduates defend master graduation theses of Economics Expertise and International Project Management

From 21st to 22nd November 2010, graduates of master training program in Economics Expertise and International Project Management at UEB have defended their graduation theses.


The program is jointly trained by UPEC - L’université Paris-Est Créteil Val de Marne, formerly known as University of Paris XII (France) and University of Economics and Business - VNU. The master diploma will be conferred by UPEC. After finishing the program, graduates would have the opportunities to become project manager of consulter, experts in international organizations, banks, non-governmental or governmental organizations. Graduates who have the expectation of further education in the field can register the Ph.D program in France. Their application document will be given prior to the short-list.

After the 4th course, there are 36 graduates defending their theses. The defending committee included: Prof. Gerard Duchene (UPEC); Prof. Patricia Pol (UPEC); Dr. Francois Rouaud, Dr. Mireille Razafindrokoto, Dr. Dinh Viet Hoa (UEB) and Dr. Pham Thi Lien (UEB).

According to lecturers’ assessment, the course has high quality of study and teaching, the defenders have fulfilled their graduation theses. In particular, there were some notable these such as: Difficulties and challenges for Vietnam in coping with anti-dumping cases; Microeconomics Impacts of International Migrant Remittances on Recipient Households in Vietnam and some regional benchmarks; Study on organizational structure of ODA Project Management and Implementation in Vietnam... 

The training program of Economic Expertise of International Project Management Master has been recruiting four courses since 2006. Program’s quality and reputation has increasingly asserted in training of high qualification human resources in the field of economic evaluation and international project management to meet the growing social requirements.
