UEB’s lecturer to attend the 14th ASJA - ASCOJA symposium in Indonesia

From 13th Dec to 15th Dec 2018, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Vice Dean of School of Business Administration, UEB participated in the international symposium on "Sustainable Business in Globalization era" (Shinise in Globalization Era) and the annual exchange program of Asia Japan Alumni International (ASJA International) at Darma Persada University, Indonesia.


The symposium was attended by the former Prime Minister of Japan, Fukuda Yasuo, Japanese Ambassador in Indonesia, officials of Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, leaders of Darma Persada University, leaders of Japanese and Indonesia businesses in the ASEAN and speakers from Asia Japan Alumni International coming from 10 ASEAN countries.

At the symposium, the participants discussed the topics of mutual interest in sustainable business management in each country. At the symposium, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh (Japan Alumni from Vietnam) presented the opening discussion with the theme of “Value development solutions for all parties in Vietnamese enterprise based on The Made in Vietnam Lean management”. The speech attracted the attention of ASEAN businesses. Most of the attendants agreed that the Made in Vietnam Lean management model will contribute to the sustainable development of enterprises not only in Vietnam but also in ASEAN and Japan.

The participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh at the symposium promoted the name of VNU University of Economics and Business to enterprises, universities and organizations in the ASEAN community and Japan, contributed to the sustainable development of the UEB with internationalization orientation.


 

ASJA (Asia Japan Alumni) is an international organization established in April 2000 with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

This is a place where Alumnus in Japan from 10 ASEAN countries government gather to support the development of research in governance, higher education and postgraduate education and academic and practical exchange programs are organized to provide opportunities for Japan alumnus to connect in the ASEAN community, for international students to learn Japanese, to understand Japanese culture and people and other countries in the ASEAN region.
