UEB's lecturer to join K.I.T.F.E.M project in Germany

From 6th June to 6th August 2018, UEB’s lecturer Nguyen Thi Hai Ha from Faculty of Accounting and Auditing participated in the K.I.T.F.E.M project in Germany following invitation from University of Goettingen.


The knowledge and innovation from and to emerging markets (K.I.T.F.E.M.) project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No.734447.

The project aims to pool EU and emerging markets’ competences and on-going research efforts to carry out a comprehensive, multidisciplinary and multi-level investigation, aimed at analyzing the role and the interplay of the main factors that characterize knowledge management, innovation and competitiveness in, to and from emerging markets and the projected impacts on EU innovation strategies and policies, as well as exchanging, training and diffusing knowledge and innovation among academic and nonacademic sectors.
The project last for 36 months from January 2017 to December 2019. Participants of the project came from 14 universities in 9 different countries. The research and discussion take place at University of Göttingen - one of the largest universities in Germany. It is also a world-renowned research university founded in the Enlightenment in 1737. The university has 13 faculties with 30,000 students and 198 training programs.
At the project, UEB’s lecturer has chance to attend seminars organized by the University of Goettingen, take short courses to interact with other researchers in teaching and learning. In addition, participants may organize their own workshops to share their research and receive feedback from others.

Participation in research and exchange at the University of Goettingen is a chance to improve research capacity of UEB’s lecturers. This also helps to expand the network of research cooperation of the University.
