The meeting and discussion between VNU-UEB students and Ritsumeikan University students

Ritsumeikan University Lecturer gave souvenir to VNU-UEB lecturers and students
On 15th September 2013, students of high-quality program of Faculty of Finance and Banking, VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) and students of Ritsumeikan University (Japan) had a meeting to discuss about “Vietnam finance system”.


The program was attended by Dr. Yusuke Toyoda - lecturer from Ritsumeikan University, PhD. Quach Manh Hao - Dean Faculty of Finance - Banking (UEB), Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Associate Dean and students of both universities.

The program was opened by introduction of lecturers and students of both sides, it brought a fun and comfortable feeling for the participants.


Shortly thereafter
, Ritsumeikan University students began their presentation, which focused on analysing the sustainable growth of Vietnam financial system, thus it can draw out positive points to apply for the financial situation of Japan today.


Meanwhile
, the presentation of UEB students offered a overview of Vietnam financial system, role of the State Bank and financial problems of Vietnam at present, such as bad debt, cross-ownership and restructuring banking system.

By suggestions of lecturers from both Universities, attended students had gave a lot of questions and interesting discussion, that made the meeting be nice and helpful.


Through the meeting, students of both universities get more
knowledge of Vietnam financial system, have more interested in development economic and especially in Vietnam financial system in the future.

The meeting was ended by party between lecturers and students. The program has left an unforgetable impression for students of two universities.


Leadership of Faculty of Finance - Banking said, the interesting programs will be held annually between students of high quality program and students of partner universities.
