Webometrics is a ranking that evaluates the digital transformation capacity and excellence of international publication on the Scopus and Google Scholar systems in higher education institutions around the world. 

- Impact: is 50% weighted, measuring the spread of the website and digital resources

- Excellent: is 40% weighted, measuring among the top 10% most cited in each of all 27 disciplines of the full database

- Openness: is weighted 10%, measuring the number of citations from the top 310 authors of higher education institutions on the Google Scholar system.

During the January 2023 ranking period, VNU continued to increase its ranking to the top 700 in the world, 137^th in Asia and 11^th in Southeast Asia.

University of Economics and Business (UEB) is proud to be one of VNU’s top units in the field of economics, business and management science, propelling VNU to the top of prestigious rankings above. VNU is ranked in the top 501-600 in the field of training and management by THE ranking in 2023. This is a marking milestone as VNU is the first public university in Vietnam to be ranked by THE in this field.

 

Business & Management Studies: UEB is a major contributor, pioneer, and leader in this field, helping VNU move up 50 places in the QS Rankings 2022.

 

For the first time, a Vietnamese public university is ranked by THE in the field of economics and business

Most recently, the list of the top worldwide higher education institutes – Best Global Universities – was announced by US News & World Report. VNU ranked 970^th worldwide and 258^th in Asia. In particular, among the 13 ranking criteria of US News & World Report, the total number of publications of VNU compared to the period of 2022.
