On 15 and 16/6/2020, the UEB - VNU solemnly organized the 6th Party Congress (term 2020 - 2025).
Participants the official session of the Congress were Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Standing Party Committee; VNU Standing Vice President; representatives of VNU Party Committee Office, representatives of functional departments, representatives of VNU Party Committee of some schools in VNU. Moreover, on the side of the UEB, there were Mr. Nguyen Truc Le - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the UEB; Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the UEB and members in the Party Committee and 117 Party members.

At the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Truc Le - Secretary of the Party Committee, Session V; Rector of UEB presented the Political Report of the Executive Committee of the UEB. The Political Report highlights the results achieved by the Party Committee in the last term. The mentioned results affirmed the remarkable development of the UEB not only nationally but also internationally.

With the spirit of responsibility for the aspirations of the entire Party Committee, the delegates attending the Congress had wisely elected the Executive Committee of the UEB in the term of 2020-2025 with 9 members. Mr. Nguyen Truc Le, Secretary of the Party Committee of the UEB, Session V, was re-elected to be Secretary of Party Committee of the UEB, Session VI (term 2020 - 2025).
The Party Commission in the term of 2020-2025 elected the Standing Committee of the new Party Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Truc Le - Secretary, Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu - Deputy Secretary and Mr. Pham Minh Tuan. At the same time, the Party Committee Inspection Committee and the Chairman of the Party Committee Inspection Committee were elected, in which Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu was elected as Chairwoman.
