Peer Review of High Quality Training Programs in Finance and Banking

In two days 28th and 29th November 2016, the peer review of high quality training programs in Finance and Banking took place at VNU University of Economics and Business.


During the peer review, the assessors conducted research, evaluating evidences, interviewing management board, leaders of offices, interviewing Dean of the faculty and staff, lecturers.

After two days of working, the assessors made the summary report on peer review of the program. The report shows evaluation on eleven criteria of the standards on quality assessment of training programs as regulated in the Circular 04/2016 / TT- BGD&DT of the Ministry of Education and Training.

 
 

Assessors report preliminary results of the peer review

 

Through the evaluation of the assessors, the high-quality training program in Finance and Banking has many outstanding advantages. However, the evaluation team also noted some limitations in the deployment process of the program. The evaluation will be compiled in the draft report following regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training in the near future.

 

Ending the peer review, on behalf of the staff and lecturers of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of the Faculty expressed gratitude to the evaluation team for giving objective evaluation, thus helping the UEB recognize the limitations of the program. At the same time, Dean of the Faculty also shared some difficulties of the Faculty in deploying the program.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Vice Rector of the UEB spoke at the ending of the review: “The UEB has noted down the evaluation of the assessors. Based on that review, the University/Faculty will offer some solutions to overcome existing limitations in order to gradually improve and enhance the quality of the training program in Finance and Banking”.
