Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son reports to the Association of Former Lecturers on the outstanding events of the University in 2015
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2016, the Board of Management of the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) held the meeting to give warm wishes to former leaders and retired lecturers of the University on 25th January 2016.
The meeting was held by the UEB in collaboration with the Association of Former Lecturers to report to the retired lecturers about the activities of the university in 2015 and express gratitude to leaders and lecturers of the Faculty of Economics previously and the University of Economics and Business today.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - Rector of the UEB informed the lecturers of ten outstanding events of the University in 2015, which showed restless efforts of all staff and lecturers of the UEB in all aspects in gaining remarkable achievements of the University towards research-oriented university with high-quality training program.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son also shared the difficulties and challenges that the University has to face in the coming time as well as the direction of the UEB in overcoming those challenges. He stressed, one of the UEB's innovation in 2016 is the change in organization of cultural activities in order to bring greater mental efficiency for all unit, staff and lecturers.
At the meeting, retired lecturers of the University expressed excitement when witnessing development and achievement of the University. The lecturers also gave advices to the university in implementing training activities and high-quality programs, improving facilities etc.
