Training on research and cooperation activities for UEB students and staffs

Dr. Nguyen Thi Vu Ha introduces about research activity at the UEB
On May 6th, 2014, the VNU University of Economics and Business held a research-training program to introduce updates in research and cooperation development activity at the university


Participating in the training session were leaders and staffs of UEB’s Office of Research and Partnership Development, representatives of UEB’s faculties and research centers.
In the determination to become a research university, the UEB also pays special attention on cooperation activity. The research-training program is to help UEB’s staff and faculty members be aware of the rules and regulations of research and cooperation activities.

 

Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh speaks at the training program

At the training session, after an overview of Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh on recent research and cooperation activities of the university, Dr. Nguyen Thi Vu Ha talked about research activities of faculty and students of the UEB. In particular, she mentioned important milestones of research progress in each year and other relevant guidance of the Government, the Ministry of Education and Training and the UEB. Finally particiapants got to know about the procedures of implementing research, organizing conferences and conducting students’ research.
The presentation also emphasized on the awards and encouragement of the university and VNU for the staff or students who have qualified research products.
The presenter at the session also introduced about cooperation development activities of the university, including specific activities such as partners development, international joint training programs, short-term training courses, student and faculty exchange activity, scholarships and funding, internships, probation, visiting delegation…


Dr. Tran Quang Tuyen shares about experience of writing an international science article

Talking to leader and staff of Office of Research and Partner Development, the audiences raised questions for more understanding of individual rights and obligations in the research and cooperation activities. In addition, Associate Dean of UEB’s Faculty of Political Economics Dr. Tran Quang Tuyen shared with the audiences about his experience and numerous articles published in international journals, especially those in the list of ISI and Scopus databases.
