Attending to the signing ceremony were representatives of the two parties’departments and offices. Within the agreement, the two parties agreed to cooperate in the fields of scientific research, training and other activities such as: recruitment, information support and sharing, consultancy, support in facilities and exchange activities.
In scientific research, the two parties are cooperating bilaterally and multilaterally in research projects at levels of state, ministry, branch and grassroots; organizing specific conferences in economics, finance and banking.
In terms of training, University of Economics and Business (UEB) and Deposit Insurance of Vietnam (DIV) are organizing long-term, medium-term and short-term training courses for staff and students of the two parties in relevant fields; jointly organizing training and career-oriented programs for students; organizing training activities for other social objectives.

The MOA is expected to take the cooperation between the UEB and DIV to higher level.
Speaking at the ceremony, UEB Rector - Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son expressed his thanks to DIV leaders, whose active collaboration has acelerated the completion of the agreement signing. He believed that, with dedicated staff of the university, especially the faculty members of Finance - Bank Faculty and Research & Partnership Development Office, the two parties are implementing effective cooperation programs in the coming period.
Representing the Deposit Insurance of Vietnam, Dr. Bui Khac Son has emphasized that the agreement was built on the actual needs of mutual support in research and training activities on economics, finance and banking of both parties. It was also the result of the earlier understanding between the two parties. DIV General Director pointed out that after the signing ceremony, the DIV and UEB will actively implement various cooperation activities, for instance programs in scientific research, conferences in finance - banking, organizing classes training courses for UEB and DIV staff, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day 20 November and 5^th anniversary of the UEB, Dr. Bui Khac Son has congratulated the university, wishing the UEB further success on its path of development.
