The signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu – Vice Rector of University of Economics and Business, VNU, Mr. Nguyen Van Son – Chairman of Vietnam Investment Construction – Services in Agriculture and Forestry Association, and leaders, lecturers of the Faculty of Political Economics, along with leaders of the Office of Research and Partnership Development and members of the VICSAFA Association.

 

 

At the signing ceremony, leaders of both sides agreed on cooperating in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term training programs for students in the fields of economics, finance, policy, and administration. Furthermore, the University and the Association will promote research and policy consulting, organize academic exchanges, national and international conferences, along with seminars on economics, finance, policy and administration. The association is committed to giving UEB students many opportunities in practical training, receiving scholarships and working at member businesses of the Association.

The VICSAFA is a socio-professional organization aiming to connect businesses and cooperatives in the field of agriculture and forestry of Vietnam. The VICSAFA’s mission is to cooperate, support, apply scientific innovations to the production process, limit the influence of adverse market fluctuations, promote efficiency in businesses, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. Currently, the Association attracts more than 200 businesses and members in a nationwide network.

 

With the vision of becoming an applied research-oriented university ranked on par with advanced universities in the world, over the years, the University of Economics and Business, VNU has made active contributions and achievements in cooperation, research, transfer of research results and policy recommendations in the economic and business fields of Vietnam. The signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with VICSAFA is one of the actions in concretizing this mission and vision of the university.
