In cooperation with AMACCAO Group, more internship opportunities for UEB’s students

On February 20th, leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business had a meeting with the managers of AMACCAO Group to discuss cooperative activities in the coming time.


Attending the meeting, from AMACCAO, there were Mr. To Nhat - Vice Chairman of the Board, General Director of AMACCAO Group and managers of departments. From the UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector and heads of offices.

 

The meeting opened the opportunities for cooperation between the two sides

Opening the meeting, Mr. To Nhat said: “Amaccao Group have worked with the UEB for a long time. As training is among the top priorities, the company paid special attention and invested a great deal to promote the education since 2017. We are looking forward to undertaking cooperative activities with the UEB, which, in turns, will create opportunities for internship and field trip for the UEB’s students.”

 

Speaking with leaders of AMACCAO, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the UEB said, “The cooperative partnership between schools and businesses plays a very important role in improving the quality of training, increasing practical activities in curriculum. Therefore, we hope to promote the cooperation with AMACCAO after this meeting”.

Afterward, representatives of the two sides discussed in details about how to design the curriculum to meet the requirements of businesses, especially in the international working environment as in AMACCAO.

 

Field trip to manufacturing factory of AMACCAO in Thai Nguyen Province

After the discussion, leaders of AMACCAO and the UEB paid a visit to the factories of AMACCAO in Van Noi Industrial Complex (Dong Anh, Hanoi) and Pho Yen Industrial Zone (Thai Nguyen).

 

At the end of the meeting, the two sides expected to implement the internship programs for the students in the near future. Meanwhile, the two sides will work on recruitment policies so that UEB’s students have chances to work at the Group right after graduation.
