Attending the meeting, from JSPS Kakenhi Research Project, there were Prof.Dr. Yoshida Hiroshi from Nagoya Bunri University; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ito Norimasa from Aichi Gakuin University, Nagoya and Dr. Matsuda Osama - Japan CPA, lecturer of Aichi Gakuin University. From the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy - Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Dung - Lecturer.

JSPS Kakenhi Research Project is a large project that studies accounting training, research, practice and regulations in several Asian countries, including Vietnam.

 

At the meeting, the Japanese delegation interviewed the lecturers and researchers of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing about the current situation of accounting training at the UEB. The two sides discussed about the accounting system, the history of accounting development, the accounting standards system of Vietnam as well as the differences in standards and the legal regulations of accounting in Vietnam and international accounting standards. Meanwhile, the delegation was also provided with articles published by Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, UEB.

 

Besides, the two sides also exchanged views on the development of joint accounting research between the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing and the experts in the future.
