Expanding cooperation with Cracow University of Economics, Poland

On 17th March, representatives of Cracow University of Economics, Poland (CUE) paid a working visit to VNU University of Economics and Business.


Attending the meeting, there were Prof. Andrzej Chochol - Rector and Ms. Agnieszka Nawrocka - Head of International Relations Office. From the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development. 

At the meeting, leaders of two universities shared information about operations, training, research and partnership activities of the UEB and CUE. The participants also discussed in details about collaborative activities in student/lecturer exchange. Accordingly, the UEB and CUE may cooperate in applying for Erasmus program, which provides financial support for exchange activities of the two universities.

The meeting opened the opportunity for cooperation between VNU University of Economics and Business and Cracow University of Economics. Successful implementation of cooperation activities will bring benefits to both universities. It is also a chance to promote the image of UEB worldwide.

 

 Cracow University of Economics, founded in 1925, is the largest school of economics in Poland and the third biggest university in Krakow, which is the main Polish academic center. The University consists of four faculties: Economics and International Relations, Finance, Commodity Science and Management which are providing 17 courses and 53 majors. The number of students currently enrolled at the University exceeds 21 000. Currently, the University has about 200 partners worldwide.
