Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Hai spoke at the symposium
On 24th October 2015, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics and Business (UEB) collaborated with Phu Tho Department of Home Affairs to organize the symposium "Strategies and human resource strategies in the new context".
The symposium was part of the training program "Strategic Leadership" organized by the Faculty of Business Administration in collaboration with Phu Tho Department of Home Affairs from 11th September to 24th October 2015.
This is a high quality training program of the UEB, which was chosen by Phu Tho Department of Home Affairs and implemented for four consecutive years. The program was designed specifically to give the leaders and managers of Phu Tho deep knowledge of strategic thinking, new approaches to local governance with practical content to managers.

Attending the symposium, from Phu Tho province, there were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuong - Provincial Commissioner, Deputy Head of the Provincial Organization Committee; Mr. Dieu Van Loc - Standing Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs and nearly 60 participants. From the Faculty of Business Administration, UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Hai - Dean, Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Associate Dean together with lecturers of the program.
The symposium was heated with lively discussions on "Economic and social development strategy for Phu Tho province in 2015-2020" and "Identification of strategic human resource of the province". Experts from the Faculty of Business Administration helped participants codify the thematic content of the course as a whole, and propose practical suggestions on development strategy of Phu Tho Province in the new period. At the symposium, the participants recalled the most concerning issues they encountered during the course and exchange ideas regarding innovative solutions to attract, train and use human resources, in order to create breakthrough development for Phu Tho province. They also shared positive feedback on the outcome of the symposium.

From the view of organizers, Mr Dieu Van Loc said, with modern teaching methods combined with symposium, the program helped participants understand the deep knowledge and practice skills to creatively apply at work, step by step to innovate mindset and actions.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuong greatly appreciated the results of the program and expressed the desire to developed further cooperation with the Faculty of Business Administration, UEB in deploying more training programs in the furture.
