Attending the meeting, from the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Hoang Thi Bao Thoa - Vice Director of Center for International Training and Education, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Deputy Head of International Business Department; from Chiangmai University, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Roeng Chai Tansuchat and Dr. Pairach Piboonrungroj of Faculty of Economics.

Opening the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu introduced to representatives of Chiangmai University the international training programs of the UEB as well as close partnership with some Thailand partners, including Thammasat University, Thailand Research Fund and Asian Technology Institute etc. At the same time, she expressed the desire to establish long-term cooperation with Chiangmai University.

On behalf of Chiangmai University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Roeng Chai Tansuchat introduced about the first university opened outside the capital Bangkok, as well as the training and research activities of the university in general and the faculty in particular. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Roeng Chai Tansuchat also expressed the desire to develop partnership with the UEB - a young and dynamic university with growing reputation across the region, particularly in the field of student exchange. Representatives of the two universities expressed pleasure in other promising cooperation opportunities, including joint training program and research.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue further exchange of information in order to build a plan of implementation in the near future.
