To improve and strengthen the academic exchanges and economic cooperation in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia, VNU University of Economics and Business (VNU-UEB) and JSPS Asian CORE Program, Nagoya University (JACPNU) announce that the ASIAN CORE PROGRAM Conference (2012) will be held on October 5-7, 2012 at Daewoo Hotel, Hanoi, Vietnam.
The theme of the conference is “Sustainable Manufacturing and Environmental Management”. Contributed papers on any topic within the field of the theme are welcome. Reference topics include but are not limited to:

The prospective authors who want to participate in this conference should send their own abstracts of no more than 300 words in A4 with free format by June 15, 2012 to the below address. The abstract should be written in English and include the affiliation, address, telephone and email of each author. After a review process by the Program Committee consisting of a panel of international scholars, the authors will be notified by July 31, 2012. The full electronic papers in PDF and word format (basically based on JSIM journal format) should be submitted before September 10, 2012 to the following address:

Basic registration fee is US $100 (2,100,000 VND). Members of VNU-UEB, JSPS Asian CORE Program, Nagoya University (JACPNU) and the participants from sponsoring institutions can participate in the conference free of charge.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROCEEDINGS, PUBLICATIONS & BEST PAPER AWARD
Based on the recommendations provided by the peer reviewers, all full papers will be published in the refereed conference proceedings (paper, online) via a dedicated website, http://smem.ueb.edu.vn, which also contains the information on the conferences. The accepted papers will further be considered for publication in the following international refereed journals, including VNU Journal of Science,Journal of Japan Society for Information and Management, subject to compliance to review report, editorial comments, conference feedbacks and payment of applicable publication fees (if any). Best paper or distinguished paper award will be announced from a block of papers in each track and will be published in any of the above journals.
