11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- Thereotical contribution:

• This thesis systemized the theoretical issues of the CSR and models used to study the CSR of commercial banks
• Provide the empirical study about the relationship between CSR and corporate financial performance
• Propose some solutions and recommendations to promote the implementation of CSR in commercial banks in Vietnam.

- Practical contribution:

• This study will contribute to improve the understanding of the role of CSR to the financial performance in Vietnam commercial banks. Also, the results of this research can help the researchers, decision makers, the chief executive officer of the bank in the process of planning, developing, and implementing CSR strategies, aiming at sustainable development banking sector.

12. Practical applicability: 

• The thesis has proposed recommendations to refine the regulations and policies on CSR to Vietnam's commercial banks. These recommendations can be applied in the management agencies and directly at the commercial banks in Vietnam.

13. Further research directions:

• Continuing research on the theory and practice to evaluate CSR framework applies to all commercial banks in Vietnam led to the development of green banking system and sustainability.
