Firstly, students have three internships, in which third-year students have the opportunity to access internships abroad in countries in Southeast Asia, East Asia, and other developed countries.

Thirdly, the Development Economics program emphasizes on training students to analyze data professionally. The global demand for individuals skilled in generating knowledge from big data exceeds the supply by over 50%. Due to the significant shortage of personnel in this field, the income of economic data analysis experts is among the highest in the economics sector, and it also takes them a very short time to find suitable employment. In the Development Economics program, there are up to 11 courses (modules) on economic data analysis and development policy, ensuring graduates can perform professional data analysis.

Fourthly, the program aims to train global citizens, who are proficient in foreign languages, open-minded, and capable of creating breakthroughs in solving current global issues such as international development, resource and environmental economics, and sustainable development economics. Fourth-year students in the Development Economics program can continue to register for transfer programs and receive degrees from universities in developed countries. Many graduates of the Development Economics program have received scholarships to study at advanced universities worldwide.
