Attending the conference, there were leaders of offices and departments from Vietnam National University, Hanoi and leaders and staff of the UEB.

At the conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le presented the report on implementation of resolutions, guidelines of the Central Party, policies and laws of the Government relating to the functions and tasks of the University; report on implementation of the past conference of employees in 2017 and regulations on the implementation of democracy in the University; evaluation and review of the Rector’s responsibilities in implementing the plan for the academic year 2017-2018. He affirmed that over the year, VNU University of Economics and Business has changed dramatically and gained significant achievement, especially in admission of undergraduate programs, education internationalization etc. Meanwhile, he also pointed out the remaining issues needed to change in the next school year. He hoped that the University will soon overcome the obstacles and become a truly professional, dynamic and open working environment.

Next, on behalf of the UEB’s Union, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thanh briefed the report on the Union activities in the academic year 2017-2018 and plan for the school year 2018-2019. Besides, the conference also listened to reports on inspection and supervision in the school year 2017-2018 presented by Dr. Pham Quang Vinh.

At the conference, the staff and lecturers of the University gave comments and opinions on various issues of the University, including: design the honors programs based on social needs; improve PR marketing in admission etc. After 3 hours, the conference ended in joyful atmosphere, ready for the upcoming school year with further success.
