On 2nd February 2018, the Union of VNU University of Economics and Business visited and gave gifts to children in Phuc Thinh commune, Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province in the program "Warm winter in Thanh Hoa".
Phuc Thinh is a poor commune, far from the center of the district, with many social and economic difficulties and limited facilities for education. On the cold winter days adjacent to the Lunar New Year, the UEB’s Union paid a visit and gave gifts to the children and teachers at primary and secondary schools here.
On this occasion, the UEB delegation handed over 30 presents including necessary goods for poor students and one special allowance of 2 million VND to student of difficult circumstances. At the same time, the UEB also gave many meaningful gifts, such as laptops, clothes, books, candy etc. for children and disadvantaged households in the region.

The UEB’s trip Thanh Hoa is not only a meaningful experience but also a beautiful memory and joy for the whole team. The UEB’s Union has contributed to the warmth of Tet to children in a poor countryside of Thanh Hoa.
